So much harm noted in that article on Sweden right now. A snapshot of the massive harm that the Swedish left is doing, and has been doing for so long over there. And for sure in the UK, Canada, and our own US.

Paglia includes the point that anti-male-ness is a big part of this. Also, that androgyny, and sex exploration not done before in past societies, began to spread in those societies at the end-stages of their culture, as they started to collapse.

I used to think people were just straight or they weren't, and having a more open society just allows those people to be honest about it. Thus, you'd expect it to increase to some extent, just because of that.
But I saw an interview with a guy who was a conversion therapist, (attempting to therapy away the gay) claiming that alot of non-straighties, come about as a result of being exposed to abuse at a young age. (he had the group he was working with corroborate that suggestion)
I also recall Putin had said they were discouraging and censoring media that they deemed damaging to gender norms, because he claimed there were studies that showed that exposing young people to such influences, made it more likely that they'd switch teams as they grew older.
So it suggests that exposure to what would be deemed unorthodox behaviors, might have an effect on people as their brains are developing, and not just the an open society allows more people to come out thing.
And then recently, I saw an article talking about how Hooters restaurant's business has been dwindling the past few years. Partially because more people are uncomfortable with it these days, but also because, citing a business insider article, according to PornHub statistics, searches for breasts is way down for the 18-24 demographic, compared to folks over 50.
^So, as you'd expect, they can and do have ready access to statistical data on how much of an effect various media pushes are having on society.
