Did she give you a solid reason? Often, liberals will do whatever suits them, emotionally, rather than think clearly. This explains why their ideology, even if they are a scientist, goes truly haywire. I saw this with the opposition to Reagan putting a missile defense rocket system, as well as retaliatory Pershing missiles in Europe during the 1980's.
Physicists carried the USSR's propaganda with their Nuclear Winter crap back then.

Smart to check with your Doc! I have yet to do so, but will follow up, as I plan to be one of the election workers in November.
So that will be my most exposure to flocks of folks - apart from regular Walmart shopping.
