An Independence Day To Remember
Trump just announced a Federal Park with statues of heroes of the the Revolution.
Statues to include Ronald Reagan and Antonin Scalia, 187 (murdered to give a SCOTUS seat to Obama).
MAGA.
WWG1WGA.
Take that and stick it up your nose, agitators for the future United States of Fascism.
P.S. I hear Q all over this speech and his last night at Mt. Rushmore.

Re: An Independence Day To Remember
The speech was chucklingly described by Scott Adams as scaring at least one Dem spokesman. He described the criticism that guy gave it as a clear indication that the speech was too on-target, and that the guy was worried about the message.
And Q! We seem to have a Q follower headed to the House from Arizona:
"Boebert has also raised eyebrows after speaking approvingly of the QAnon far-right conspiracy theory, which makes claims of a "deep state" plot against Trump and his supporters.
Speaking during an appearance on the web show Steel Truth, which has been associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory, Boebert said:
"Everything that I've heard of Q, I hope that this is real because it only means that America is getting stronger and better, and people are returning to conservative values."

~~~~~~~~~~
Now, right after that in the article she says she doesn't believe in Q.
So - she def follows Q to some degree, but is not sure of Q - that's many. She may find fellow-thinkers in that regard in the House!
At least in some of the recent ones.
Re: An Independence Day To Remember
Doc, If Scalia was murdered, how would that change your view on things?
Re: An Independence Day To Remember
I cant see that changing my view on things much.
In my high school days I read some political novels that had been best sellers in the fifties, by a guy named Alan Drury.
In one, there's a scene where the President has meekly submitted to lots of international Soviet Dominance.
Drury has a visiting Soviet offial at some cermeny where he notes the imposing and impressive US Soldiers or Marines lined up, there. The Soviet guy is thinking something like "Damn! Its a good thing these Americans don't realize how powerful they are!"
Writers like Drury and others who formed a lot to of my early ideas on politics prepped me for conspiratorial possiblies.
Anther imfluence early on was an interview with a mobster in Witness Protection. He said that he didn't believe any corruption investigations were really serious, and wouldn't, until they uncovered some Congressmen and Surpreme Court Justices.
Did I accept that? Off and on, I've at least considered it, ever since. Then we have the novel "Winter Kills," based on the Kennedy assassination.
The author - a guy who wrote many best sellers, including the novels that the "Prizzis Honor" movies were based on - wrote that conceptualizing how it could have been a US Corporate "hit."
So many others!
Scalia being assassinated would surprise me, but also not surprise me. I considered it when that was reported. I wondered for some time after, then moved on.
And once again, well-known legal novelist Grisham did a novel based on assassinating a Justice called "The Pelican Brief." Reading has prepared me for much in life!
Re: An Independence Day To Remember
For me, and for Dick Morris, the Kennedy thing was internal, even tho Castro and Krushchev has reason to strike back personally, on Kennedy because of his win during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. However, the Hoover-Johnson-Dulles thing, especially in light of Hoover's blackmailing of the Kennedy's during the 1960 democratic convention, when Hoover blackmailed the Kennedy's into replacing Hubert Humphrey with Lyndon John, Hoover's guy. Morris indicated that Kennedy moved hard on the "missile gap" with Krushchev, to beat Nixon, thus, strengthening hardliners Breshnev's and Kosygen to successfully depose Krushchev.
This almost ended the human experience, said Morris.
Re: An Independence Day To Remember
"Allen Drury". As in "Seven Days in May". A major 'fictional' work.
