Re: 1st Age Reversal Results
1st age reversal huh? Wow. Now, how much more than its development/ manufacturing costs do we think the pharma industry will decide it can get away with charging for the commercial version of this treatment? 500% 1000%? Bear in mind that even drugs that treat morning sickness were, once exclusive rights to sell the treatment were secured, ramped up to tens of thousands of dollars for something which cost a fraction of that to manufacture. Imagine, then, opportunity for wealth extraction that an actual elixir of youth would provide. They could charge six or even seven figure sums and still be guaranteed buyers for their product.
Of course this would put the treatment beyond the reach of ordinary people. Ahhh Elyssium with its vision of the .1% with access to eternal youth beyond the reach to everybody else, how right you were...

Re: 1st Age Reversal Results
I see the possibility of a Much Nicer Elysium, for all of us-even the Earth Bound. For instance, just as we can make a profit today from medical treatment. Then the CEO's can, from de-aging, or curing people, can continue their lavish lives on Elysium. Call it win-win.
It'd make a lousy movie, from a money making point of view, but much nicer to live it, than the film.
