A man accused him of abusing him as an alter boy when he was 11 years old more than 50 years ago. The Pope believes him
The Cardinal will lose all of his privileges including his housing and income.

Good first step.
My Pope has many others right there on his plate that he is "standing pat" on.
He appears to be prioritizing a generations-old "Conservo V libbo/PC" fight within the Catholic hierarchy.
Many who he is not acting on - thus he appears to be protecting - are on his side of that older fight, the libbo/PC side.

There's pro'lly a bunch, sadly. The current Pope I got seems to be protecting them, and happily enough bad pub got him to finally fire McCarrick.
Its about time! He's been "outed" as bad for some time now.
