Re: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez OBLITERATES Fox News Papa,
Your impulse to touch on this or that aspect of Christianity and impose it as you will is not a fault of you alone - or even a fault at all from some perspectives.
To avoid hypocrisy and simple confusion - if Allie "Occasional Cortex" or any other Proggy idealist wants to take someone elses' money, she is more qualified as greedy than someone who says "F*ck You" to anyone who demands "give over yer stuff!"
That's even true if the person who doesn't want to hand anything over has billions and billions of dollars.
Recall ye, ye who would flog yer opponent wit da Bible:
In the New Testament, we find Jesus being asked by a rich man how that rich man can get into heaven. Jesus tells him to give all his wealth away and to follow Jesus from now on.
Note - not "give me all yer stuff." Not "give all yer stuff to the Gov." Not "give all yer stuff to this good group, or this good person who will do good works with it."
Nope - just get rid of it. Dump it in a river or gully if need be to loose it - but loose it.
The message was to one person on what to do, himself, not him in relation to the group. He, himself, must stop directing his life at the accumulation and maintenance of wealth, and instead think of his "afterlife." So do good now, and disregard building wealth now.
The message was and is PERSONAL salvation.
However many of the group of humanity as a whole will be saved - the mass of humanity will be saved one at a time.
Re: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez OBLITERATES Fox News Thats an odd vid.
It says that Fox is going crazy over widdle Occasional Cortex.
Then it plays a montage of many Fox personalities saying her name calmly. All of them in that montage display a calm demeanor.
So - no showing of "going crazy." To have seen discussion of a big new Dem Star who is making mis-step after mis-step on the one major network that critcises Dems seriously - thats not odd or surprising.
The first claim is thus a "fail."
The next claim fails, too. That claim: That because Laura Ingraham calls Crazy Eyes and three other troubled new young Dem leaders "the four horsewomen of the apocalypse" the narrator is overwhelmed by that formulation.
She says "Apocalypse! Yikes." When ya calm down, lassie, you can google that.
You will find that many have used the "four horseman" formulation, most recently for four Atheist popular speakers in the last decade.
These guys got a lot of play on YouTube - two of them were Sam Harris and "Hitch" - Christopher Hitchens.
In the modern usage of that phrase, it can mean whatever ya want. In Lauras' usage, it clearly, merely means that all four woman are already trouble for the Dems.
It looks like you have a vid here that is speaking within an unreal bubble of thought, Papa.
