God
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
Amen.

Re: God
Papa-I'll drink ta that!
Bwah hah hah hah hah.....
Chardin's noosphere inspired Frank Tipler's Omega Point Theory, in part. I believe the prayer was Niemoller?
On fixing things, this take cooperation, and to cooperate, your "team" no, like, the rest of us, even those who are pragmatists. If we are all religious (Christian) fanatics, and Kluxer demons, then, of course, your team wants no cooperation. It's understandable in this way! Certain technologies that we can develop can contribute to a better world, despite politics, or whats fracking for?

April 10th 1955 was when he died. It was Easter Sunday. The Thanksgiving before that he told his friends at the dinner party that he hoped to pass away on Easter. God is with us and I rely on him every day.
depend on with full trust or confidence.

Re: God
Thanks, Rich. I like the Episcopal Church because they focus on love and acceptance. They allow for gay and lesbian priests.

Of course Unitarians were on board decades ago
There is a Catholic movement called ‘Dignity’. I believe
