Re: Tesla’s plan to deploy 50,000 Powerwalls in Australia
I mean it could work, but, since it's Musk, you have to check it out twice, before believing this claim. I know he wants to, the Aussies want him to. Now can he deliver? Can he deliver 50% of this in 5 years???

I have said before that when I get the knock on my door offering to install panels for free, I will say yes. If Musk is the one that knocks, all the better.

Har! The only way it will be free is if Musk gets the taxpayer to pay for it. In this case we'd get powerwalls, in Macron's case, the French get zero. :-/

Re: Tesla’s plan to deploy 50,000 Powerwalls in Australia
Musk is a man in a hurry.
Maybe he realizes that Mrs Musk could file for her "cut" any time. The urgency must grow with each "start," as he starts more and more big projects.
"Will she jump as she sees more money being used for new big things?" Thinks Elon - silently.
"Say nothing!" - he thinks to himself. Maybe if you dont say it out loud...
And he has discussed a one way trip to Mars. Did he discuss himself and the little lady enjoying those presumably amazing sunsets over Olympus Mons?
Nope.
