Soon, the most beautiful people in the world may no longer be human
In my recently concluded study of porn, I have discovered that the most "beautiful" woman is not the sexiest woman.
Beauty is mainly about symmetry. A face that's symmetrical is said to be beautiful. But just because a face or a body is symmetrical, it does not mean that face or body will be appealing.
Evidence of this claim can be found in who the mass public chooses as its stars and celebrities. More times than not a celebrity has some asymmetrical attribute, some quirk or kink, that gives them "personality."
Also, from biology we know that the "average" woman -- the middle of the bell-shaped curve -- is the most sexy woman by definition. After all Nature has selected her for sex, hence reproduction, more often than all other women. So average women exist in greater numbers than all others, including the so-called "beautiful" women.
If we are going to build successful SexBots, AI engineers will have to design in random quirks and kinks otherwise the most "beautiful" women may be the least desirable women.

Re: Soon, the most beautiful people in the world may no longer be human
It is no doubt a result of psychological programming in our civilization that by photoshopping and airbrushing that we are somewhat ‘programmed’ To what we find beautiful or ‘sexy’ in a woman (or man) Also there is a strong ‘cultural’ inhibition as women are not ‘legal’ in the de facto sexual meeting places which are known primarily as bars.
That generally means over 18 years of age in the United States. As for Porn I suppose that eventually there will be porn of humans with sexbots and ultimately sexbots with sexbots.
in a manner of speaking porn is an primitive sexbot.
I’m with the Professor on porn being on the level of a ‘basic tool’ of survival for human males. The Emir of Kuwait it is rumored has a virgin in his bed every Thursday nite, (female no doubt). But few of us exercise such power.

It is pretty much accepted that people tend to find others with unique attributes more attractive. Not necessarily asymmetric features, but features that make them stand out while still being attractive. A distinctive nose, large eyes, an uncommon racial background etc.
--- Account closed permanently. I won't stand for abuse of authority by forum administration to censor criticism of a conservative radio host that celebrated the death of AIDS patients on his show. Maybe some day we'll speak again elsewhere.
