Joe Rogan is hosted by Ben Shapiro on the ‘Daily Wire’.

This is interesting. One of the primary substrates of it is ‘politeness’. Something perhaps we need to keep in mind in this Forum.

Rich, you hate us and like to do psych warfare. What do you expect? It's fun, it feels good, and, its part of our primate brains. Shapiro is a sharp guy, who I occasionally agree with, and usually side with.

Let put it this way, if you all view as Sturmabteilung, how polite can you be?

Plus, your democratic socialist party leaders (formerly democrats) are eliminationist in nature. (shrug).

Greendoc.

This is a conservative (Shapiro) and an open minded liberal (Rogan) with a few conservative notions sitting, talking and basically getting along. They intentionally avoid the things that they might vehemently disagree on. Shapiro is a Religious Jew and Rogan a curious Agnostic

rich,

Thanks for another one of your posts that I have enjoyed.

Ben and his guest Joe touched on many issues.

Toward the end Joe notes that he gets a lot out of his guests, and tries to learn how to discuss things better. He finds something true that I have heard and read before.

It seems accurate - that many dont really listen to hear the other persons opinion. They listen to wait for their turn to speak, and are listening so as to fight, not the grow.

Neither Joe or Ben seemed to avoid anything the other brought up. You wrote: "They intentionally avoid the things that they might vehemently disagree on."

What specifically were you thinking of?

I ask because I certainly might have missed something, and would like to check on what you say was an issue they were clearly avoiding.

Two issues I disagree with strongly were their mutual disregard for Pres Trump and acceptance of making it as easy as possible to vote for President via the internet.

Regarding the voting, we see that Joe is not a simplistic "Yay! Lets get the votes of our laziest, least motivated voters!" person.

He and Ben agree on some kind of competency test for voting, which I think would be great. I imagine that is not your "cup of tea."

Neither are pro-Trump. Ben is more relaxed about President Trump than Joe. To listen here, it might surprise to hear periodic episodes of his "Web Show" when he gets into his "anti-Trump-ness" in a big way.

If I am wrong that you agree with both of them, and are actually OK with Pres Trump - please do tell! Along with that:

Do you have any opinion on their "voter competency testing" idea...

or their anti- "modern gender-bending" ideas...

or their "racial IQ differences regarding averages of large numbers of people" points...

or their "there's nothing wrong with the intellectual dark web" stances?
