Proposed Executive Action: Edit to Rule 19
Currently, rule 18 reads as follows:
quote: 18. Rule Amendment: Rules can be amended if 3/4 of the moderators agree to the exact wording of specific amendments. Forum Administration may make minor edits to the rules to increase consistency or clarity after posting their intent in the Bureau section and waiting 24 hours for members and moderators to make objections. If any moderators object, the issue must be handled in the official manner.
I would like to add a comparable passage about Administrative edits to rule 19 to bring in in line with this rule. Currently, rule 19 says:
quote: 19. Forum Modification: Anything about the forum can be changed (where feasible) if 3/4 of the moderators agree to exact changes. Forum Administration will not undertake heroic measures to make expensive or technically difficult changes.
I would like to edit it to read:
quote: 19. Forum Modification: Anything about the forum can be changed (where feasible) if 3/4 of the moderators agree to exact changes. Forum Administration will not undertake heroic measures to make expensive or technically difficult changes. Administration may make minor edits to the forum to increase consistency or clarity after posting their intent in the Bureau section and waiting 24 hours for members and moderators to make objections. If any moderators object, the issue must be handled in the official manner.
I have actually been acting in this manner for quite a while, but I would like to make it official.
