Rosenstein asks for federal prosecutors in review of Kavanaugh

]Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has asked federal prosecutors to help the Department of Justice (DOJ) review Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's government documents, according to a report in The New York Times that notes the request is an unusual injection of politics into the law enforcement duties of the department.

The last days of Earth were written by a hack novelist.

Thanks for that link, Spike.

Its a heads up to any that think that since Rod Rosenstein is a Repub, he is not anti-Trump Administration. The only real question, given what has been unearthed at the FBI is - is he "Strzok level" anti-Trump?

This action leads to that, along with him having crafted a "go letter" for the Mueller investigation that is open ended instead of the specific task orientation it is supposed to be.

Now he brings all the Federal US Attorneys into another "go fish" policy designed to defeat a Trump effort.

OK, Rosey. At least now more will see ya for who you are - more "Strzok level anti-Trump."

The whole news cycle is becoming so ridiculous that I a beginning to believe the simulation hypothesis. We are all participating in some bizarre historical farce: a post-singularity analogue of a Shakespearean comedy: Much Ado About The Presidency.

The Mafia state demands this and that-
a nation of laws not men, is really a code for rule by lawyers.

"...really a code for rule by lawyers."

The issue is way too many laws.

Ideally, a much smaller body of law than we had (by virtue of the long expanding body of British law) way before we rebelled would be needed

Pres Trump is paring away! That is helping with the mass of law piled on in the last decade.

I say too often "our coming AI links..." - yet here again, the AI links that cannot come too soon for me will be able to deal with the uniquely swampy mess of our mountain of laws.

Which can all be scanned into text data. Not by an underpaid grad student in the basement with a law book standing in front of a copier-scanner.

No - by our happy replacement bots. Some like the teeny spiders crawling through the stacks like the bots in "Future Crime" with Tom Cruise. Others gosh knows how they will look! A sparkly mist, maybe! But text data we shall have - faster than we think.

Text data! Hah! Our personal AI's will eat data as a snack.
