GAIN-OF-FUNCTION RESEARCH - Source of the Coronavirus? -- New Evidence

Intro:

Ascertaining where the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that started the COVID-19 pandemic originated from is not easy. After putting together a collection of interviews, news articles, YouTube videos, and scientific papers, here's where things stand as of today.

Note that, since this article was first published on 22 March 2020, a number of additional researchers have been looking over the data and adding to the knowledge base even as a number of videos on YouTube -- that did not conform to the “official story” were systematically censored. One of the videos that has NOT so far been censored is the interview between bat specialist, Bret Weinstein, and Russian investigator, Yuri Deigin, who discuss COVID 19 and the troubling hypothesis that the COVID virus may have escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China.

Weinstein and Deigin also discuss the observation that the scientific community seems to be lining up on the side that SARS-CoV-2 is a naturally-occurring virus and NOT something that originated in one of THEIR government-funded labs. The Weinstein-Deigin interview is about 2 hours long but is a must-see, must-study video. All Americans, and all people of the World, MUST get on top of what governments, scientists and rogue actors are doing, overtly and covertly, in the field of genetic engineering, what we discuss here as “gain-of-function research.”

History of Gain of Function Research:

The key to understanding the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is an understanding of the term, "gain-of-function." Gain-of-function is a biotech term that means "a mutation that confers new or enhanced activity on a protein." In short, mutations take place in nature, but they can also take place in genetic-engineering bio labs. So what is the source of SARS-CoV-2? Was it was made through natural processes or was it engineered in a bio-tech laboratory? Here first are some facts:

According to The Scientist magazine of 31 March 2012, bio scientists were debating risks associated with a mutant strain of H5N1 avian flu decades ago. One mutant strain shocked the scientific world when it was discovered that a "bat virus" could be transmitted through the air between ferrets. The reason this is significant, if not alarming, is because ferrets are mammals, as are humans. Also, bats are the only mammals that can fly.

The new virus was genetically engineered by the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands in September of 2011 and presented to the European Scientific Working Group on Influenza by Dr. Ron Fouchier.

The experiment was soon reproduced in the U.S. at a lab at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Both the Netherlands and U.S. experiments were reported in Science and Nature magazines so it's on high-level record when and what genetic engineering experiments took place.

Subsequent to the publications, many in the bio tech community were abhorred that technical details of such risky experiments would be published. The concerns centered around whether the viruses should be created at all and if so how should they be regulated as potential weapons of mass destruction. So serious was the issue, the Dutch Government, in compliance with E.U. regulations, sued Dr. Fouchier in order to require that he obtain official permission to "export" his H5N1 paper on "dual use" technology to Science magazine for publication.

Then again in 2015, genetic engineering experiments produced yet another deadly virus. This time it was a Coronavirus produced at the bio lab of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. At this U.S. facility, bio technicians engineered a hybrid virus (what's known as a "chimera") using the backbone of the SARS-CoV (a virus which causes human-like acute SARS in mice) and the surface protein of the SHCO14 Coronavirus (a virus found in horseshoe bats in China). A genetic chimera is a single organism composed of cells with more than one distinct genotype. This is what gives the organism or virus, the ability to transfer between species. Enhance or alter such chimera with gains-of-function and it's not difficult to see why the biotech scientific world was freaking out. Again "gain-of-function" is a mutation that confers some new or enhanced activity, such as increased lethality, nebulous trajectory control, aerial transmutability, enhanced human-to-human contagion, or simply making the thing more difficult to kill. Of course few of our congressmen or their lapdogs in the Mainstream Media said much to their fellow Americans about any of this.

But after a series of three close calls with dangerous biological agents (an anthrax scare, a small pox scare and a lethal-virus-mailed-to-the-wrong-lab scare), the U.S. Government began to realize the potential risks and liabilities of these new genetically-engineered viruses and placed a moratorium (a "pause") on funding. It also changed the game plan to align more with what could be called the UN's "Precautionary Principle" in that the burden of proof of safety would be removed from the government to the bio-scientists. In other words, no longer was the default carte blanche for bio-scientists to go ahead with experiments unless the government could prove risk or danger. The new policy was: no funding unless bio-scientists proved first that the benefits outweighed the risks -- especially with gain-of-function experiments that produced "dual use" technologies.

In this new environment, researchers, who had enormous amounts of time and money invested in gain-of-function experiments, were likely quite dismayed by the new barriers to funding and the ostensible new enforcement of regulations.

What happened next is not certain, but one could theorize that one or more frustrated lab technicians or bio-scientists (possibly Xing-Yi Ge himself) may have directly or indirectly transferred all or part of the genetic engineering experiments to China where the government was more laxed and adherence to the various Biological Weapons Conventions was not as stringent. Funding would thus be more available -- both from the Chinese Government and research entities, some funded even by American organizations such as the Bill & Linda Gates Foundation.

The only existing (or known) Bio Safety Level 4 lab in mainland China is the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The Institute was established in 1956 to study smallpox and Ebola. By 2005, the Institute's bio-lab was studying the SARS Coronavirus and the horseshoe bats that are natural reservoirs of SARS-like Coronaviruses. Pursuant to this research the Institute sampled thousands of horseshoe bats across China isolating over 300 bat Coronavirus sequences over the years.

In 2015 a new $44 million Level 4 bio-lab was constructed in the Institute as a collaboration with French engineers from Lyon. Part way through construction, which took over a decade, the Chinese Government kicked out the French engineers and completed the lab on their own. Various U.S. scientists expressed concern over this because this was the first Level 4 bio-lab the Chinese had ever built and there had been previous "escapes" of the SARS virus at other lower-level labs built in Beijing.

Given the above history and facts, it would not require a very aggressive "conspiracy theory" to speculate that the almost brand-new, Level 4 bio-lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology would now have the ability, motive and opportunity to gain-of-function study any and all forms of bat viruses, including the current SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that's engulfed the world.(7)

AND, given the nature of totalitarian governments, including the Communist Party of China, it would not be a very aggressive "conspiracy theory" to suggest that the Chinese armed forces -- the People's Liberation Army -- might have an interest in this bio-lab and any bio-weapon applications. After all, weapons are to a government like water is to a duck.

This is why, when the Coronavirus probably "escaped" from the Institute of Virology, the Chinese Government freaked out and suggested the virus originated from the Huanan Seafood Market, a "wet market" about 20 miles away. This is also the reason the Chinese government took so long to tell the world about the contamination and why it detained various physicians and scientists.

This said, I do NOT think the Chinese Government or the U.S. Government or any other government deployed or let this virus escape on purpose. The COVID-19 pandemic is an accident, but research into the coronaviral family of pathogens is a planned agenda probably in violation of the various Bio Weapons Conventions biding on all 193 UN-Member nations.

Some of our information comes from the Israelis who claim to already have a vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. If so, this corroborates the idea that this virus was known about and experimented with as early as 2012, so they would have had ample time to create such a vaccine or cure.

If this is true, a valid "conspiracy theory" might be constructed to suggest the Virus was leaked as sort of a socio-economic test, the idea being to see what mass social controls U.S. and global populations will tolerate. We are also seeing a test of the idea of a Universal Basic Income (UBI) that progressives have been pushing for years, but the twist is that this form of welfare is being engineered to now be palatable to even hardcore conservatives. At the very least the COVID-19 pandemic may be establishing the groundwork for future giveaways as the Globalists fight back to expand the welfare-warfare state.

Summary:

SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was genetically engineered as a gain-of-function experiment in Wuhan, China. A naturally-occurring virus was tampered with under government funding and supervision, starting in the U.S. and then continued in China.

After a series of emergencies, the U.S. government placed a pause on the funding but then reversed this pause at a few select labs.

When the virus was transferred from a U.S. lab to the new lab at the Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China, the pathogen "escaped" into a population of 11 million people crowded in a smoke-filled "human settlement" formerly known as a "city." Probably the virus was carried by one of the lab workers when s/he visited the Huanan Seafood Market -- a "wet market" of thousands of dead and alive wild animals stacked in blood-dripping cages to be sold as "food" and delicacies inevitably contaminated with sub-lethal doses of every terrifying natural and unnatural viral organism in the known universe. Given this, the Virus COULD have started here, but it's MORE likely it only "festered" here and "started" back at the Level 4 bio-lab.

And bear in mind, thanks to GATT, NAFTA, BILL and their spawn of "globalization" these organic pathogenic pets are being crated and shipped all over the planet. Is it any wonder ports in California, New York and Washington are shut down?

Since the Chinese Government took so long to acknowledge the catastrophe that was unfolding in real_time, any savvy citizen has to conclude that there was at least some degree of foul play and one or more of the UN's Biological Weapons Conventions of 1972, 1986 and/or 1991 were violated. A significant number of UN-Member governments are probably, to some degree, violating these conventions -- especially countries that do not garner nuclear weapons. In other words, SARS-CoV-2 is not just the product of a "fish market" it's the new "unifying principle" for the UN's agenda for world domination under the battle cry of "sustainable development."(2)

If there was foul play in connection with the release of SARS-CoV-2 and the resultant COVID-19 pandemic, it would make sense that the Chinese Government WOULD manufacture a "shore story" in order to minimize negative PR for the regime. If so, that shore story came in the form of the Huanan Seafood Market, a "wet market" 24 kilometers Northwest of the Institute of Virology, both in the perfect breeding ground of the smoke-filled, over-populated city of Wuhan.

The actions of the Chinese Government indicate that they were and still are trying to cover up experimentation with real or potential bio weapons and the U.S. government may be guilty as well. Why else would their lackeys in the Mainstream Media be putting out desperate, Agenda 21-promoting headlines like:

BATS ARE NOT TO BLAME FOR CORONAVIRUS. HUMANS ARE.

This would explain why none of this is coming out in the Mainstream Media except when denounced as "conspiracy theories."

The U.S. Government does deserve some credit if it paused or terminated even some funding for "gain-of-function" research when it was discovered that the surface protein of SHCO14 Coronavirus manifest itself and was shown to be potentially uncontrollable and/or seriously lethal and/or transmittable human-to-human.

Lastly, since there is a layer of smoke all over Wuhan, the question becomes, what has caused this smoke? Was it standard pollution from Wuhan's 11 million population or is it smoke from crematoriums burning virus victims? I was having a hard time answering this question until I saw a YouTube Video shot somewhere back in January and the smoke was all over then, so I infer that the smoke is probably not from crematoriums and the Chinese were not trying to hide anything at that time.

Conclusion:

The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that started the COVID-19 pandemic did NOT originate in a "fish market" and one or both governments, the U.S. and Chinese Governments are duplicitous in their degrees of covering up involvement with gain-of-function genetic engineering of lethal and uncontrollable viruses that have potential or known bio-weapons applications.

The Mainstream Media -- apologists of Agenda 21 -- is already spinning this COVID-19 pandemic as a function of human over development. CNN Health news states:

"Ultimately diseases like Coronavirus could be here to stay, as humanity grows and spreads into places where it's previously had no business … this will make changing human behavior an easier fix than developing a vastly expensive vaccine for each new virus. The Coronavirus is perhaps humanity's first clear, indisputable sign that environmental damage can kill humans fast too. And it can also happen again, for the same reasons."(3)

The mere fact that the U.S. Congress, its Mainstream Media mouthpiece and its funding-corporatocracy has allowed 90% of America's pharmaceuticals to be manufactured in China indicates an EXTREMELY COZY AND LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE U.S. GOV AND THE CHINESE GOV WHEN IT COMES TO MEDICINE AND BIO-TECHNOLOGY.

Americans need to take a serious look at this because many would consider this treason, at the very least misprision. Given this, maybe it's time for term limits and a serious review of who should be serving the American taxpayers and voters.(4)(5)(6)
