Sticky Topics: Moderators may create sticky topics. Always bear in mind that an excessive number of sticky topics can limit the amount of space available for fresh topics.  However, when some moderator feels that the sticky is no longer useful, they can post, within the sticky, that they plan to unsticky it in 24 hours. If no one objects during the waiting period, they can unsticky it: quote:17. Reversing Moderator Actions: Any action taken by moderators, such as making a topic sticky or unsticky, moving a topic, etc. can be reversed (where feasible) if a greater number of moderators agree to the reversal or if a moderator posts his intention (ideally within the thread that will be affected) of undertaking such a reversal, and no moderator or administration expresses disagreement within 24 hours. Moderators should attempt to work out their differences before they call for a vote to reverse moderator actions. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Thu, 26 Apr 2018 10:52:34 +0000 Request to create a ‘sticky topic’ around the 3 hourhttps://bescapevelocity.runboard.com/p5378,from=rss#post5378https://bescapevelocity.runboard.com/p5378,from=rss#post5378Book TV interview with Ray Kurzweil. IMHO. This interview is historic and pivotal to our movement, and capable of enhancing our participants Handle on the consensu most of us hold. It was posted in MINDX . But it could be made sticky by one of us or simply reposted by one of us. I would but I already have 2 sticky posts and a 3rd might create the impression that I am some ‘primal’ moderator which clearly falls more in others hands like Spiko or ‘The invisible Hand’. Not all my ideas are good. r. nondisclosed_email@example.com (richiemobile)Thu, 26 Apr 2018 10:43:45 +0000
