Observing The Universe Really Does Change The Outcome, And This Experiment Shows How

https://medium.com/starts-with-a-bang/observing-the-universe-really-does-change-the-outcome-and-this-experiment-shows-how-454d10b651ca

Maybe that is why the universe invented us? To create machines that will be able to observe and change things it wants changed at a much faster rate?

>"So you take a different set of quantum objects, like electrons, and fire them at the double slit. ... one-at-a-time through the slits. ... After thousands upon thousands of electrons, you finally look at the pattern that emerges. And what do you see? Interference."

Well maybe all this proves is that there is no time.

This is not a new concept and has been played around with by followers of Heisenberg, Schrodinger, for nearly 100 years. Some scientists like Julian Barbour have indeed postualted, that there is no time, merely actions that are observed?

I am (besides being an asshole) a utilitarian, which looks to the question of what is best for the most amount of peeps, but more precisely asks how discoveries in science and developments in technology (engineering) benefit our species??

It makes me also ponder if our species was produced by the universe to produce observers, or in our case, better observers, such as smarter machinery? All guesses and often I am not in the mood for this kind of thing, because, life, etc...

George Carlin "Maybe the earth created us because it wanted plastic, and didn't know how to make plastic?"

Probably the truest thing one can say about the universe is we co-create it.

Yes, this has been said by others noting the Observer effect. Still, I am not sure if this requires a mass amount of observers to change things? Most of the time, I see humanity as Captain Ahab lashed by to the White Whale. If we have a situation where we can as observers, vote on reality, then, it's pizza and beer for all!
