Striking Mysteries In DNA Discovered

New form of DNA discovered inside living human cells--Lab work previously suggested existence of 'i-motif' structures, but only now have they been seen in natural conditions

“It’s exciting to uncover a whole new form of DNA in cells,” said Professor Dinger. “These findings will set the stage for a whole new push to understand what this new DNA shape is really for, and whether it will impact on health and disease.”

I've long advocated that we'll eventually find a higher level control program in DNA. Could this be it?

Red,

May your theory prove true.

Our expected AI research to come will probably help untangle that knot.

For now, we humans now have these new knots in the DNA, and begin new very basic research to try to make heads or tails out of the new arrangement of the base pairs.

It very much pounds home the idea of how near we are to the beginning of understanding our genetics.

We get lost in imaging the possibilities of our understood science, such as the amazing CRISPR.

We still have so much to learn about it!

Thanks for your comments, Doc.

That is an appropriately ambiguous statement. Are we close or far from understanding what we call "genetics"?
