Also, the dark matter hypothesis arose out of a need to explain observations that had already been made. These observations are constantly before us and easily repeatable.
Theories of space aliens do not explain anything and are never repeatable. They contain all the telltale characteristics of a delusion.

That would be the most reasonable conclusion to draw.
Oh, and dark matter is epicycle BS. Remember that those epicycles were likewise “needed to explain observations that had already been made”. In this case the observations were of planetary movements that needed to be reconciled with a model that, for purely deductive reasons born of a mystical belief in the divinity of geometry, that the earth lay at the centre of our system and orbits were perfectly circular. The epicycles were successful in crafting maps which were fairly accurate representations of were planets would be in the future but at the end of the day it was needlessly complex because it was a patch to cover up a fundamental flaw.
As plasma, EU and Sorce theory have shown, the same thing is true of Big Bang cosmology. The Aether was not disproven but instead exists in the form of a superfluid and the evolution of the universe should be attributed to electrodynamic forces working on plasma rather than gravitational forces influencing matter.

Re: Because there's no one out there! I don’t care about UFOs so I do not read or watch videos about it. However, unlike Spiko I acknowledge that my professed lack of interest in this subject means I am hardly in a position to pass judgment, which is why I take an agnostic position like “maybe they exist and maybe they don’t, it’s just not a topic that interests me very much”.
But Spiko is different because he simultaneously lacks any motivation to do the necessary research (he has not read even one percent of the material on plasma cosmology and Big Bang theory that I have read) AND he thinks he is entitled to refute it.
