“Be ready to be in Milwaukee for the DNC convention. We’re going to make look like a !@#$ girl’s scout !@#$ cookout,” warns the Sanders field organizer. “The cops are going to be the ones !@#$ beaten in Milwaukee.”
Seems like a easier win for Orange Dude in this case.
Re: From Team Bernie Gulags after his win I heard about this from a former Bernie supporter, who turned away after he switched to supporting Hillaroid, and turned away more when in his current version got more Woke and accepted Black Lives Matter and the general anti-White slogans that go with it:
He goes into the Warren lie (probably) about Bernie saying no woman could win, but then focuses on this Gulag thing.
He points out that there are many like this guy in his throngs of Proggy supporters, and that the Repubs will use this very successfully now that its been exposed, if Bernie were to win the Dem Primaries.
He's sure that, if Bernie wins, this latest Veritas surprise will lead to sinking any chance for victory for him. When he describes how that would be, I agree.
Re: From Team Bernie Gulags after his win I actually hope nothing like this brings Bernie down. I want this to be an election between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump...a final standoff between communism and capitalism.
Re: From Team Bernie Gulags after his win Oh, this may. It normally wouldn't touch him, but the way he was treated in this nights debate showed that he will get no mercy.
The lie that Pinocchiohantus told about him was treated as true by a CNN moderator.
Pinocchiohantus herself soft-pedaled it, as she did in a Twitter-reply about it earlier.
That strategy aimes to get Sanders to accept letting her lie go, to ignore it and move on.
If he does, one after another, voices will call: "Oh, so you admit it? Then apologize, Woman hater!" And such-like comments.
He saw through that, and denied he said it. By denying what she has claimed now several times - it's pretty out there: He or she is lying.
On that basis he tried to make peace after the debate, by holding out his hand for a shake, with a smile. She ignored it and got in his face with a snarl.
She is against a wall - by acting as he did, she will look more and more like a liar to more and more people. Theres lots of circumstantial evidence of him supporting women for all roles, including the Presidency.
And tons of examples of her lying! So her rudeness after the debate may have been a last gasp effort to salvage some change of narrative from her lie to...what? An argument about what? The lie?
What she tried at that point will be part of the next few days' speculation.
He handled that well enough to survive it - but his general lack of aggression shows that, if they don't take him out like last time...
He will be gift to Don. A sacrificial lamb with some spirit. Lets hope his heart doesn't fail before election night!
Re: From Team Bernie Gulags after his win That was a strange exchange between Warren and Sanders. He shook her hand, but he was obviously resentful. He said emphatically that he didn't say it. She wasn't able to say to his face that he did say it. I think that point went to Sanders.
Honestly, I still can't see any way this ends in peace. The Democrats can't allow Sanders to get the nomination, and their efforts to stop him are going to destroy the party. We should just dig a crater where Fiserv Forum will have been and get this over with.
If we dig the crater with construction equipment, civilians will be able to get out of the way...no death toll!
Re: From Team Bernie Gulags after his win Saying something like that wouldn't necessarily make a person a sexist in the eyes of reasonable people..
"I don't think a woman could win in 2020" could be a strategy opinion. Assuming a person assesses situations like that..
I was talking to an elderly black neighbor of my grandmother when Hillary was running, and she was of the opinion that a woman shouldn't be in that role... I assume she got it from her church, because there's a religious angle to it.
Hope her opinion isn't representative of too many people....
"I don't think an openly gay person could win in 2020", or "I don't think an adamant atheist could win in 2020" doesn't really make you a bigot.
Folks'll label you one though, and it'll probably work well to damage you. (in the eyes of some people)
or.. "I think so-and-so's immigration policy is reckless and will likely backfire in the future."
"Gender-fluid bathrooms probably wouldn't fly well in the inner-city any time soon." ^Intolerance! Bigotry!! ...Xism!!
