Re: Senator Grassley says the whistleblower identity must be protected The fellows name is Ciaramella. He is a CIA employee of Obama CIA thug Brennan, who mentioned he voted communist back in 1976. He is a Obama plant in the CIA to spy on. The Donald.
That is the dem operatives name.
So which America are you going live in? I doubt that Putin or Xi will not ACT at their own opportunity.
Re: Senator Grassley says the whistleblower identity must be protected I honestly don't understand why you folks have decided to latch onto this whistleblower. He was only relevant as far as exposing what he thought was inappropriate behavior. Why do you still care?
This is the "dossier" all over again. It's like you folks think if you can twist yourself up in knots to discredit early parts of something scandalous then it somehow makes everything else uncovered later not count.
Re: Senator Grassley says the whistleblower identity must be protected
He was crucial,
Keyword "was". He already put the information out there, and now he is no longer relevant. Nobody is relying on the whistleblower's account of the facts, because we have witnesses willing to testify pubicly who have first hand knowledge.

Kinda directly completely contradictory, no?
Not contradictory at all. The whistleblower is no longer important, but that doesn't mean it is a good thing to expose their personal information. The whistleblower blew the whistle through the systems explicitly designed for it, and now we have people who were actually on the call willing to testify publicly. Whistleblowers should be able to report what they see as misconduct without fear of reprisal from defenders of the person they're blowing the whistle on. This is not a complicated concept.
Re: Senator Grassley says the whistleblower identity must be protected Right! Also, he was never a whistleblower.
The Intel IG screwed up, and classified him wrongly as-such. The newly Trump-appointed Intel head decided to play it safe and leave the mistakes in place, sorta. He noted that the classification was wrong, but that he would still accord protections.
That doesn't apply over his head, or anywhere outside his Department.
So any Senator, Pundit, Representative, or private citizen who wants to tweet it or sing it out is free and legal to do so.
Whistleblower statutes DO NOT apply to this guy!
And what is he, then? A liar and sneak who's trying to screw with the President from within the CIA - to me, and to many who look at this.
To most Dems - since he attacks Trump, hes golden.
Re: Senator Grassley says the whistleblower identity must be protected If Trump is reelected and Republicans take back the House, Democrats are going to pay big time for the precedents they have set. Now that we all understand there is to be only one party, let it be the Republican party! Let the Year of Schadenfreude begin! Nay...let the epoch of Democrat political damnation begin!
