Re: Cat Transcendence Darn you, Spud! Showing me that the Star Trek cartoon series included the Kzinti, and the Slavers - arghh! That ended up taking a bit of time.
I left an episode bookmarked. I'll watch occasionally.
Re: Cat Transcendence The Kzinti first appear in Larry Niven's short, The Warriors, where the peaceful humans, came under attack by the Kzinti, in The Warriors. (1966).

Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with an approximate 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Wikipedia

Re: Cat Transcendence Nice tune Anime. Of late, I don't believe we atone enough, based on politics :-[
Meanwhile, Cats aside, this artist is a fav of mine, but since all his stuff is worked on by other DJ's it's impossible for me to tell what is originally, Shingo Nakamura's? Let's just say that it works for me, and maybe not you?
I used his music to go surfing for science articles to place on MindX.
Yes indeed. I've devoured lots of Niven and his late writing partner, Jerry Pournelle for many decades. Many re-reads.
I'll look for the warriors short, because I usually enjoy a re-read years later. I'd bet I read it in some compilation - they published several Kzinti books of shorts, some with other authors using the characters. Many writers like military themed sci fi.
