Re: Solar Panel Prices Continue Falling Quicker Than Expected
That’s good news if it is true.
Solar could be the 21st century’s aluminium. Aluminium was once more valuable than gold. Not because it is rare- in fact it is abundantly available- but because it was pretty much inaccessible. Or rather, it was until the invention of electrolysis.
Similarly, the problem with energy is not that we have a limited supply. There is more than enough energy. But it is in a form that makes it hard to access. If solar technology is indeed improving like this report says, we will be able to access this abundance of energy. This would be a real game-changer, needless to say.

Re: Solar Panel Prices Continue Falling Quicker Than Expected
Ask yourselves the question, given the technology we now possess, and ask yourself if solar panels can power a large city, by day and night, all year long?

"Yeah, yeah. Yadda yadda solah powah. Bah!"
"Heretic! Take him to the Solar Tower in Death valley for the Noon immolation!"
Watch it, Spud. PC is only one flavor of Dogma.
Worship of the sun is primal, like worshiping the earth. Some are always ready.
"Take me."
And some are always there to take.
