Bruce writes some great lyrics, and puts on a great show - I saw one before he burst out with a nationwide hit and got even bigger than he already was. So long ago!

Bruces' lefty beliefs are not philosophically supported by his artistic ability. The public advance of them may be, certainly, to all who make political decisions emotionally - which is certainly a lot of people.

Fortunately, the bankrupt ideology of political socialism has too much of a "taint" to anyone who looks into the history of it independent of some charismatic preacher.

It's so bankrupt that even todays youngest, very socialist oriented Dem politicians - like young Crazy Eyes - insist that we understand she is not pitching Socialism - no! She is pitching Democratic Socialism!

Remember old Joe Lieberman? A Dem, not a Democratic Socialist. Simply a very liberal, yet pro-biz, big spending Dem. He explains to his fellow Dems - many of who do watch Fox, thus its good ratings - but also trying to explain the risk of her to the centrists.

Here he is, explaining why the delightful young Crazy Eyes is a the wrong girl for you, as much as your heart may say yes:

As hundreds of thousands of federal workers are going without paychecks, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross is struggling to understand why some are turning to food banks to feed their families. Instead he advises federal workers to take out loans to make ends meet. The real question is how on earth could someone this out of touch with the plight of workers still have a job as commerce secretary.

The shutdown has yet again exposed Trumponomics for the sham that it is -- the wealthy and corporations get special loopholes and exemptions during the stalemate, while American workers get shafted. To Trump and Ross, these workers are nothing more than pawns in their political game.

The wealthy corporations own the entire democrat party. The democrat party is now the party of the Globalist$. This has even been noted by the mouthpieces of the Left-

Show one thing the democrats have done for the middle class? Too busy taking cash from Hedge Fund managers and Silicon Valley $$$$

As for the Reps?? As one person stated on the Old defunct Forum, "the reps are just open whores $$$" I, concur.

It's not out of touch to tell people some good advice. If any who could get a loan for three to six months, they could begin paying it off after the shutdown ended.

Of course, not all Fed Employees have a good enough credit history to get a loan. Still, for those who do - good advice.

More evidence of the failure of Trump's tax cuts. The National Association of Business Economics reports that companies didn't make substantial investments in their businesses because of the corporate tax cuts, according to their annual survey.

The Congressional Budget Office also released estimates today that the federal deficit will spike to $897 billion this year, with economic growth slowing to 2.3 percent. Analysts say that the tax cuts paid for only about 30 percent of themselves, contrary to what we were told by Trump and Republicans in Congress.

So where did all the money go? Last year, corporations plowed more than a trillion dollars into buying back shares of their own stock -- boosting executive bonuses and increasing returns for wealthy shareholders.

Re: Lies

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have introduced legislation to completely eliminate the estate tax on America's wealthiest families. The tax currently only applies to estates over $11 million per couple. And wealthy families already stash away dollars above this into “dynastic” trust funds that escape additional taxes.

Meanwhile, the U.S. government will borrow more than $1 trillion for a second year in a row to finance the federal deficit, which Trump and McConnell exploded with their tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. This new proposal is nothing more than a giveaway for the GOP's donors.

Trump's shutdown cost the U.S. economy an estimated $11 billion, according to a new report from the Congressional Budget Office. That's more than the $5.7 billion Trump requested for his nonsensical wall. Meanwhile, thousands of federal contractors might never be reimbursed for the pay they lost during the shutdown.

The Congy Budget Office preditions are like Global Warming Alarmist weather predictions.

More often wrong than right. The spending by both parties has been too much for some time.

The main driver of our debt is not defense, though. Its social spending.

The biggest lie is from Dems who claim Pres Trump is too big of a spender. They almost always push to spend as much as can be spent.

Meantime - any Fed Workers who are almost ruined because of the partial shutdown - can quit and get another job. The job market is very open.

Almost all won't do that, because Fed jobs are very hard to be fired from, with great benefits that go on until you die, and great pensions.

We've had temp budget shutdowns for decades now. Any Fed employee who doesn't prepare for that with an emergency shutdown plan has failed a "basic adult independent living" test.

Any who are hurt by this should turn their life over to someone else before they find themselves possibly ruined by something else they can predict and prepare for.

Especially as the partial part of it might slam shut again when the three weeks is up.
