NY Dem Hopeful Proposes Something Like Chinas' Social Credit Score
Mr. Yang is a successful NY entrepreneur, and insists that his system is nice, not mean like in China:
"New York entrepreneur and Democratic 2020 candidate Andrew Yang wants to implement a system in which a government-run mobile app rewards Americans with “digital social credits” (DSCs) for good behavior...
Yang’s social credit plan bears some similarities to the social credit system implemented by China’s authoritarian government.
Every citizen in China is assigned a social credit score that determines whether they can buy plane or train tickets.
Unlike the Chinese system, Yang’s plan does not include...punitive measures.

Good old Andy. It seems like a nice civic encouragement plan, thats all. How could that possibly go wrong?

The more we "forget" the closer we drift toward totalitarianism. Trump was a temporary reprieve, but the darkness comprehended him not.

The way to respond is by bluntness. Like that prick swallow well, in CA. He was suggesting nukes would be used for his magical, forced, buy-back eddict. The same with the communist !@#$ who proposed this measure.

Re: NY Dem Hopeful Proposes Something Like Chinas' Social Credit Score
"The Darkness could not comprehend Trump."
The dark is a mass, a presence with vauge parameters. In modernity, we metricize the heck out of it.
We measure the varying spectral density of a "visual darkness." If "the dark" is a darkly oriented mass of political actors, we input the individual member data - and if we can afford it, the metadata related to each one. Ages, genders, citizen status, shopping, browser history, etc.
Andy Yangs' idea - and the similar, more hard-edged ChiCom version of Yangs' internet idea - promise a way to get more of that useful data!
Mr. Yang may be as well meaning as the fuzziest Dem you could ever instinctively edge away from on a train or bus.
Andy Yang may just be one more of many Americans who see much to emulate in the amazing, still "kinda-booming" Orient.
The Orient! That word itself got added to the growing "taboo word list" a little bit ago.
That ever increasing word-destruction is an example of how those managing our public conversation appear to be "nickel-and-diming" us to death. They have been chipping away at our society at all levels my whole life, and apparently for a long time before that.

The reason the communist party was able to slay 45 million of their own people, was, in part, the passivity of the Han to inner threats. The USA is a different culture. Different for everyone? No. Different enough, however. They have the Resistance, but WE are the Insurgency!
