Also, they can outraise us outrageously, considering the Hillary campaign.
Twice as much spent officially, and a huge "in-kind" cost donated by Dem-allied media.
And yup, she came close. Her loss may well have been partly due to having the closest thing to a female anti-Christ as the Dem candidate, so perhaps that race is not the best model for predicting the midterms.
Most assess it so far almost any way ya want, coming down to averaging all the polls.
Most of those pollster are Dem oriented. Done by Universities, think tanks and media groups. Yugely anti-Trump/Repub. So just as in that election, under-predicting the Repubs.

The Dems probably spent most of their money getting Ocasio-Cortez elected. Money well spent, in my opinion!

One of the huge money-winners, Irish-American, pretend Hispanic "Beto" O'Rourke, has his chances waning more by the day.
Red Texas is seeing the news, and watches some conservo internet as some of us do.
And Red Texas is coming home to Ted!
This guy reports on this, and on rumors that talk is buzzing that Beto may be the hoped for "Trump Beater" for the Dems in '20 -

He points out that regarding money, the internet and priority to Dems to take back some power means lots of Dems in other States are probably donating.
And he is not planning to share his money. He just may try for it!
