Moreover, in the USA, campaigns cost a huge amount of money, which these billionaires fund, essentially, the democratic party. $$. This is their solid (ha ha) trend towards totalitarianism, the sili billi's are good with dictatorship. Were the conservatives in the US? I'd say yes, but like the UK, there is a class war, and this class war is one in which our Laborites are worse than Rep rich are about money.
That is the background, and Joe Stalin would have killed all these. Not our grandpa's form of socialism, closer to fascism, actually.

Erm, I actually meant the TV show Silicon Valley.
Dunno about yer thougts on donations. I thought the problem you had was with companies giving BOTH dems and rups large - often exactly equal - donations. Is that a good thing? What does it say about the relationship between the companies and the politician? If company X want to do something that requires new legislation its in their interest to butter up both sides before easing in the thick throbbing shaft of Late Capitalism.

The point of the internet is to find me things I want to find. If everything is decentralized then things go back to the way they were before 1998 when Googles A.I. algorithms were introduced. Which means things go back to crap. I don't buy into the decentralized web. Companies provide better services to consumers because we are valuable to them. The more work needed to provide a service the bigger a company we need that isn't pre 1998 crap.
